About the role

  • Financial Controller responsible for monthly reporting and budget management within Meliá Hotels International. Collaborating with business partners to ensure financial performance and insights for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly reporting and forecasts for management
  • Direct reporting line to the Business Partner Region East Germany
  • Preparation of the month-end closing
  • Preparation of budget vs. actual comparisons, including variance analyses
  • Preparation of budget plans and forecasts
  • Analysis of operational KPIs
  • Monitoring of receivables and deposit payments

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar position
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent financial understanding and experience in budget management
  • Solid knowledge of international accounting standards is an advantage
  • Very good written and spoken English; Spanish is a plus
  • Structured and independent working style
  • Strong team player
  • Strong guest focus
  • Excellent hosting skills with an open and personable manner
