Responsibilities
Call on foodservice operators only in the specified territory or region.
Sell MegaMex Food products to new and existing Foodservice customers by performing various duties.
Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.
Display or demonstrate product and respond to customer requests for documents.
Estimate date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
Prepare for and conduct FS operator cold calls. Discover and develop new sales opportunities.
Travel throughout assigned geographic region to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talk with customers on site or by phone.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university
2+ Years of Experience in Food Service Channel of business (or equivalent training)
Existing knowledge / relationships with key operators in Northern or Southern California in Food Service industry and distributors such as PFG, Sysco, US Foods
Knowledge / experience in managing GPOs (ex. Aramark, Compass, Foodbuy) a plus
Culinary experience & passion for Mexican Foods a plus
