About the role
- IT Account Manager responsible for sales of IT solutions in Leipzig region at Medialine AG. Engaging in customer relationship management and business development in IT infrastructure and cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Sales of our products and services via inside and field sales for the Leipzig area
- Generating new business through your own prospecting and acquisition efforts
- Sales consulting for customers on our solution portfolio in IT infrastructure, cloud and business software
- Preparing proposals and supporting projects
- Long-term customer relationship management and support
Requirements
- Completed commercial training, ideally in the IT sector, or a completed degree — preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field
- Experience in IT sales; ideally you have professional or project experience in consultative business areas (datacenter infrastructure, virtualization, storage, security, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure (server & client, networking, virtualization, Microsoft) and/or cloud solutions
- Strong conceptual skills, willingness to learn and high motivation
- Confident manner and strong customer orientation
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Excellent German (spoken and written) and good English skills
