About the role

• Junior Operations Analyst handling operational processes for benefits at MDS Group in Brazil. Involves document management, client interaction, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform all operations related to changes to insurable and non-insurable benefits (additions, removals, amendments, upgrades and/or plan extensions) using carriers’ and insurers’ portals and/or systems to ensure correct processing.
• Download and process the billing kit via carriers’ and insurers’ portals/systems to enable organized and secure delivery to the client.
• Verify invoices by checking all data and information contained in the Billing Kit files to ensure all processed transactions are correct.
• Review all received documents to identify contradictory data, gaps, errors, incorrect numbers or documents, and outdated information, in order to prevent issues that could cause losses to the business and/or clients.
• Record and update the control log for all transactions performed by entering the required data and information to ensure effective tracking of actions taken.
• Provide empathetic, client-centered service—treating people attentively and using clear dialogue to understand needs and to clarify questions or provide necessary information regarding the billing and/or allocation process.
• Review dependents who reach adulthood (monthly billing reports and insurers’ registration status) by analyzing reports issued by carriers/insurers and processing exclusions based on age limits.
• Identify opportunities for improvement through process mapping performed during execution, applying procedures and workflows, and proposing actions that enable continuous improvement in operational performance.
• Perform other related duties inherent to the role as required by the area, using training, professional development and guidance from the immediate supervisor to ensure continuous professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related fields
• Basic knowledge of Excel
• Experience in insurance operations for health, dental and life products
