Responsibilities
Developing, implementing, and managing technical training programs to support the skill development and performance of manufacturing personnel
Building a robust training framework that ensures employees possess the technical knowledge, skills, and competencies to meet and exceed productivity, quality, and safety standards
Collaborating closely with manufacturing leadership, subject matter experts, and human resources to design, implement, and continuously improve training strategies
Leading the design, development, and delivery of technical training programs related to manufacturing processes, equipment operation, quality systems, safety, and maintenance
Overseeing the onboarding and upskilling process for new hires, including hands-on training, SOP reviews, and qualification assessments
Developing and maintaining training documentation, including training matrices, SOP training records, competency assessments, and certification tracking
Implementing and managing a robust Learning Management System (LMS)
Monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPIs) and employee feedback
Supporting regulatory and customer audits by providing training documentation and demonstrating compliance with training standards
Managing and mentoring a team of training specialists, facilitators, or technical trainers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree: Engineering, Industrial Technology, Education, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in manufacturing environments, with at least 3 years in training, technical education, or leadership roles
Experience designing and delivering technical training programs for manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety standards
Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, lean methodologies, and process improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM)
Demonstrated ability to manage teams and develop others through coaching and mentoring
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools
Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
