About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure for data teams. Involves cloud automation, CI/CD, and Kubernetes management.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform
- Take full ownership of our deployment pipelines, optimizing for speed, reliability, and developer productivity
- Manage and scale our Kubernetes (K8s) clusters on AWS
- Implement and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Drive security best practices across the infrastructure
- Collaborate with software engineers to optimize application performance
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Deep, hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC)
- Mastery of Kubernetes and Docker in production environments
- Expert-level proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins) and IaC (Terraform)
- Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and internal tooling
- Proven track record of taking ownership of complex infrastructure projects and mentoring team members on DevOps best practices
- A passion for solving challenging technical problems
- A team player with excellent communication skills
