About the role

  • Reliability Engineer at LANXESS improving the reliability of fixed and rotating equipment. Partnering with Engineering and Operations to ensure asset safety and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve the site reliability program for fixed and rotating equipment.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance to ensure asset safety and performance.
  • Own and enhance site reliability and Mechanical Integrity programs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (API, ASME, RAGAGEP).
  • Improve reliability and maintainability of equipment, utilities, and safety systems.
  • Develop and optimize Asset Maintenance Plans.
  • Analyze asset performance metrics and lead root cause failure analyses.
  • Provide technical expertise in fixed and rotating equipment, metallurgy, and vibration.
  • Support design, commissioning, and acceptance of new installations.
  • Troubleshoot failures and support engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of reliability or chemical manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial fixed and rotating equipment.
  • Familiarity with API, ASME, and applicable industry standards.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
