Responsibilities
- Assemble devices for various clinical applications based on drawings and written instructions.
- Work from and understand schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions.
- Align and assemble small components and mechanical systems.
- Testing and troubleshooting of sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure the established quality standards.
- Perform experiments to validate the performance of the device.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
- Mechanical, optical, acoustic or electrical assembly or testing experience 1-2 years preferred
- Skilled in using hand tools and basic electronic and mechanical equipment
- Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and directions
- Good organizational skills and the ability to function with minimal supervision
- Ability to learn new techniques
- High degree of computer literacy
