About the role
- SAP EWM Functional Consultant implementing warehouse solutions and collaborating with stakeholders at Market Cloud. Leading SAP EWM projects and optimizing warehouse processes in Eschborn, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP EWM implementations, rollouts, and support projects
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Configure SAP EWM modules including: Inbound & Outbound Processing, Internal Warehouse Processes, Storage Types, Storage Sections & Bins, Putaway & Picking Strategies, Labor Management (optional), Wave Management & Yard Management (optional)
- Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, MM, SD, and TM
- Support RF framework, mobile data entry, and barcode scanning processes
- Collaborate with technical teams on custom developments, enhancements, and interfaces
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and issue resolution
- Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and conduct end-user training
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- [X+] years of experience as an SAP EWM Functional Consultant
- Strong knowledge of warehouse business processes
- Hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration
- Experience in end-to-end SAP EWM implementation projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Good to Have
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM
- Knowledge of ABAP debugging (functional level)
- Exposure to automation, ASRS, MFS
- SAP EWM Certification
- Experience in industries like Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG, or Logistics.
