Responsibilities
- Build, code, test, and maintain high-quality software
- Participate in Agile sprints and ceremonies; support rapid iteration and development
- Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs
- Develop and maintain data mappings, transformations, and workflows
- Optimize and tune ETL processes for efficiency and performance
- Manage and maintain database systems, ensuring data integrity and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes
- Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive records of development activities
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards are met
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ experience with IT experience
- Proven experience of over 5 years as an Informatica Developer, with expertise in Informatica PowerCenter 10.5 and up
- Strong understanding of database systems, preferably with experience in DBMS such as DB2
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration concepts
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science (preferred)
