About the role

  • Financial Analyst responsible for financial activities supporting US Segment Operations at Manulife. Collaborating with teams to develop reporting, metrics analysis, planning, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial and business reviews, ensuring data quality and developing customer-focused reporting
  • Demonstrate strong technical accounting skills for expense review
  • Lead enhancements in reporting processes
  • Play a key role in the Expense Management leadership team
  • Identify expense risks and opportunities and influence actions for business partners

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or advanced degree highly desirable
  • 3-5 years of experience in progressive accounting roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration, negotiation, and influence
  • Self-starter with independent judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
