About the role

  • PMO Analyst managing project controls and governance at MAG, ensuring project delivery meets schedules and budgets. Collaborating on numerous active projects valued over £30m with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the project delivery teams to apply the controls, governance and standards
  • Provide early visibility of risks, issues and slippages
  • Support several projects simultaneously across different areas of Technology
  • Influence project managers to complete assurance activities on time and to a high-quality level

Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience of working effectively in a PMO function
  • Working with project management methodologies (Prince 2/MSP)
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage several tasks and deadlines
  • Advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Solid understanding of financial terminology and experience with financial systems (SAP)
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to summarise large amounts of delivery information into a concise update
  • Solid understanding of analysing large sets of project information and providing insights and recommendations
