Responsibilities
As an Application Technician, you are responsible for bringing our security management systems into operation at customer sites.
You install and parametrize hardware and software, configure the system, support integration with other safety and security systems, and accompany commissioning through to a successful go-live.
You work closely with our on-site technicians, project managers and customers, analyze technical issues and develop pragmatic, sustainable solutions.
Requirements
Vocational training in electrical engineering or IT, e.g. IT Specialist for System Integration, IT technician
Good knowledge of IT and network technology as well as experience with databases and applications
Interest in safety and security systems and their integration (video, access control, intrusion alarm systems (EMA), fire alarm systems (BMA), etc.)
Structured, independent working style and strong willingness to learn
Broad technical understanding, manual dexterity and enjoyment of practical problem-solving
Experience in security technology, ideally with hazard/security management systems
Valid driver’s license (Class B), willingness to take part in occasional on-call duty and to travel regionally
Confident use of MS Office
Very good German language skills
