About the role

  • Act as a thought leader and external representative for Luminos on foundational literacy.
  • Lead technical dialogues among diverse consortium partners.
  • Ensure the technical quality of the program.
  • Serve as the primary strategic liaison for the consortium’s senior leadership.
  • Take overall responsibility for the timely delivery of all project milestones across the consortium.
  • Oversee a multimillion-dollar budget, ensuring fiscal integrity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in international development, education, or nonprofit sectors.
  • Thorough knowledge of research and policy relating to foundational learning.
  • Understanding of curriculum development, the design of teaching and learning materials.
  • Strong financial management skills with prior experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, master’s preferred.
  • The ability to travel internationally to countries of operation up to 25 percent of the time.
