About the role

  • Bilingual Auditor managing compliance audits for the Law Society of Ontario. Performing audits, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to legal standards in regulatory practices.

Responsibilities

  • Examine licensees’ books, records, files, and related documents for compliance
  • Prepare audit reports and make recommendations for improvement
  • Conduct pre-attendance due diligence and prepare for audits
  • Conduct audit assignments independently or as part of a team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Law or a related discipline
  • Professional designation in accounting or law and membership in a recognized Canadian professional body
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial, regulatory, or compliance audits, preferably in relation to the practice of law
  • Proficiency in English and French
