About the role

  • Senior Executive managing financial accounting and control functions at London Stock Exchange Group. Collaborating across business divisions to enhance decision-making and financial stability.

Responsibilities

  • preparing, developing, and analysing financial information
  • performing accounting transactions in the general ledger and sub-ledgers
  • ownership of journal posting reconciliations and intercompany recharges
  • preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and substantiations
  • developing and using spreadsheets, databases, and other reports
  • effective interaction with onshore team members
  • adherence to internal controls as per group policies and the financial control framework

Requirements

  • professional accounting degree
  • minimum 2 years of experience in General Accounting
  • proven track record in processing core accounting transactions
  • hands on experience in SAP/Oracle/Oracle Fusion systems preferred
  • excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, especially in MS Excel
  • excellent communication skills in oral & written English
  • strong process orientation
  • adaptable to working in a constantly evolving environment
  • ability to build strong working relationships with global colleagues
  • accuracy and outstanding attention to detail
  • ability to work according to UK work hours
