About the role

  • Finance employee managing accounting and financial tasks for HolzLand Hasselbach, a traditional family-owned timber and construction center. Responsibilities include processing accounts payable and receivable, financial analysis, and report preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Processing financial accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as cash management
  • Handling payment transactions, invoicing and dunning
  • Reconciling accounts and resolving outstanding items
  • Preparing monthly VAT returns
  • Assisting with the preparation of business financial key figures
  • Preparing and supporting monthly and annual closing activities

Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial vocational training, e.g. as a tax clerk, accounting clerk, financial accountant or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting
  • Confident user of MS Office applications
  • Experience with financial accounting software desirable
  • Structured and analytical approach with an enjoyment of working with numbers
