About the role
- Develop high-quality software, design, and functional documentation
- Work with product owners, architects, and others to implement solutions
- Provide estimates for specific software feature implementation
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the SDLC
- Build unit tests and follow test-driven development processes
- Develop and maintain tools and applications with clean, efficient code
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Provide senior leadership to junior software developers
- Participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions
- Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies and standards
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Software Engineer
- Experience working in Agile SDLC
- Experience with Test Driven Development and/or Behaviour Driven Development
- Knowledge of software design patterns
- Technical skills in C#/.NET, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, AngularJS
- Familiar with DB (SQL, Oracle, PostGres)
- Working experience in different cloud environments
- Familiar with scripting (Powershell, Bash)
- Experience with GIT and associated pipeline development
