Accounting role managing financial operations for a real estate management firm in Munich. Responsible for bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reporting within a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
You take full responsibility for the accounting of our managed properties — with a focus on rental management.
You review and code incoming and outgoing invoices (accounts receivable/accounts payable), post transactions, and manage dunning processes — including deadline monitoring and, if necessary, coordinating debt collection.
You manage and monitor all payment transactions (planned vs. actual reconciliation) and assist with cash flow planning for individual properties.
You independently prepare annual statements for owners' associations as well as service charge statements for rental management — digital, structured, and easy to understand.
You work closely with our technical property managers, advise them on accounting matters, and ensure that commercial and technical management processes mesh smoothly.
You are the contact person for accounting-related inquiries from owners, tenants, and advisory boards — competent, solution-oriented, friendly, yet assertive in tone.
You prepare data for tax analyses and external service providers (e.g., tax advisors or auditors).
You help further digitize and standardize our accounting processes — together with a team committed to continuous progress and innovation.
Requirements
Successfully completed commercial training or an equivalent business/economics qualification.
Relevant experience in the accounting department of a property management company — ideally with a focus on rental management and preparing service charge statements.
Strong affinity for software: you learn new tools quickly, think digitally, and work in a structured way — experience with Impower is expressly desired.
Familiar with digital work environments and ideally experienced with tools such as Google Workspace, Impower, or HubSpot.
You have a strong numerical understanding and accounting mindset comes easily to you.
You work independently, precisely, and conscientiously — especially during busy periods you maintain an overview.
You live service and manage relationships: whether customers, colleagues, or external partners — you remain friendly, professional, and communicate clearly.
Flexible working arrangements with the option to work in the office, from home, or remotely as needed.
Plenty of work to keep you engaged while still allowing you to achieve your goals.
We place great value on a socially responsible working environment, which includes structure and a strong team spirit.
State-of-the-art equipment: you work with premium hardware and cloud-based tools — efficient, fast, paperless.
A genuine feedback culture where you receive constructive feedback on your work that truly helps you improve!
