About the role

  • Financial Analyst supporting budget management and CAPEX analysis at Log-In. Analyzing performance metrics and providing insights for decision making within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and propose alternatives to address variances identified in budget execution for the period, including required funding and reallocations
  • Responsible for the company's CAPEX (actual vs. budget vs. trend, creation of capital assets, capitalization of assets, funding, reallocations and reclassifications)
  • Work on specific workstreams (projects) aimed at improving the company's budget management
  • Contribute to the company's annual budget schedule by updating budget assumptions, extracting data from the company budget and providing support to business areas
  • Monitor the company's projected results, consolidating monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports related to volume, revenue and costs
  • Analyze weekly cash flow performance (weekly update of expectations in coordination with Treasury and Accounts Receivable)
  • Contribute to the preparation of the company's results book through graphical analyses, comparisons and tables for monthly performance meetings with senior management
  • Support the calculation of results in the BI (Business Intelligence) databases and include necessary adjustments for accounting reconciliation
  • Monitor monthly budget execution of expenses and revenues by business unit, providing cost reports to budget-holding areas (revenue and costs) so they can prepare justifications and ensure adherence to budget assumptions
  • Ensure the company's target system is populated with all economic and financial information for company-wide target tracking
  • Support ad-hoc requests by analyzing budgeted vs. actual amounts and comparing them to prior periods
