About the role

  • Accountant ensuring financial accuracy and integration in M&A processes at Logcomex. Transforming international trade with data-driven solutions and AI.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of the company's financial and accounting information, with solid knowledge of accounting routines and experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) processes.
  • Together with your leadership, drive operational and strategic activities related to M&A projects, ensuring the accounting and financial integration of the companies involved, in addition to performing the organization's accounting routines.
  • Accounting:
  • Perform reconciliation and analysis of accounting accounts, ensuring the integrity of financial information.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
  • Carry out monthly and annual accounting close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
  • Manage the calculation and recording of provisions, accounting adjustments, and other journal entries.
  • Actively participate in external audits, providing necessary support and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, promoting automation and optimization of routines.
  • Perform analyses of all accounting accounts, explaining and understanding all variances.
  • Maintain communication and relationships with other company areas, ensuring technical and operational alignment.
  • M&A:
  • Work directly on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) processes, participating in due diligence, accounting integration, and providing support to the finance area.
  • Analyze and consolidate balance sheets and financial results of acquired companies.
  • Ensure accounting compliance with Brazilian standards (CPCs) and, where applicable, international standards (IFRS).
  • Participate in the integration of accounting and financial processes of acquired companies.
  • Work together with related areas (legal, tax, finance) to ensure the success of M&A transactions.
  • Operate both operationally and strategically, ensuring tasks are executed with quality and within deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Experience in M&A.
  • Experience with external audits (Big 4).
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Previous experience in a startup environment.
  • Knowledge of Domínio (ERP) or NetSuite.
  • Active CRC (Regional Accounting Council registration).
  • Intermediate English.
