Responsibilities
Shape the operational core and product world of Löwenanteil
You are responsible for coordinating Purchasing, Production and Logistics and drive the strategic development of our product portfolio as well as Customer Success.
You are the strategic mind ensuring our vision of high-quality organic food scales profitably and delights our customers.
Operations & Supply Chain Lead: You are responsible for planning and controlling the entire supply chain.
You ensure our production runs smoothly, inventory levels are accurate, and our logistics processes keep pace with our growth.
Management of external production partners: You are responsible for selecting and operationally managing our manufacturing partners. You keep quality assurance and cost control firmly under control and ensure our partners can scale with our growth.
Strategic Sourcing & Partner Management: You establish procurement as a central success factor. This includes targeted supplier selection (especially in the organic sector), conducting complex contract negotiations, ongoing cost optimization, and building long-term, resilient partnerships with consistently high quality.
Leadership & Team Development: You lead a team of currently 6 employees with clarity, empathy and determination.
Product Governance: You assess the commercial feasibility of new ideas, manage go-to-market processes, and ensure innovations are seamlessly transferred into production.
Cross-functional Interface & Strategy: You work closely with our Managing Director and Marketing to perfectly synchronize demand and supply and to take the company operationally to the next level.
Requirements
You have solid leadership experience from the FMCG, food and/or startup environment in e-commerce and understand the dynamics of physical products as well as the specifics of premium organic food.
E‑commerce experience is a must-have for us.
You master the interplay of operations and product, have experience managing external production partners, strong negotiation skills, and enjoy keeping complex supply chains stable and efficient.
You have experience leading multidisciplinary teams (5+ people).
Your strong communication skills and high social competence make you a valued sparring partner for your team, the founders and external partners.
You are strong in closing contractual negotiations and have an eye for numbers, quality and sustainability.
You can take a 10,000-foot view for strategy but are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and be hands-on operationally.
You are passionate about food, identify with sustainability and have high standards for product quality.
