About the role

  • Senior Marketing Manager leading a marketing team at a GovTech startup in Munich. Driving digital growth and transforming public sector engagement with efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

  • You lead our small but highly effective marketing team — which means real ownership and no endless approval loops
  • With your creative ideas, digital expertise, and a hands-on mentality, you drive our growth in the public sector
  • You plan and manage multi-channel campaigns around product launches, new features, or targeted audience segments — and deliver them successfully
  • Website, social media, blog, brochures — you create content tailored to the target audience in close coordination with Sales, Customer Success (CS), and Product
  • Ongoing SEO/GEO analyses and content optimizations ensure we are found where it matters
  • You continuously maintain and develop our website and landing pages — with a clear focus on conversion events
  • Whether it's a trade show booth, webinar, or community meetup — you help shape the spaces where we make the right connections
  • You independently manage external service providers and agencies — ensuring our investments pay off
  • You measure what you do, learn from it, and continuously optimize for the relevant KPIs
  • Sales, Customer Success (CS), and Product are your closest sparring partners. Short lines of communication — one team
  • You report directly to our CRO and, together with Sales and Customer Success, are part of the GTM leadership team.

Requirements

  • At least 5–7 years in digital B2B marketing — ideally in SaaS or tech
  • You think in terms of audiences, funnels, and channels — and know which levers to pull when
  • You are familiar with Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, and HubSpot
  • Strong SEO/GEO knowledge — you know how to build visibility systematically
  • You know what makes content effective — and you can write it yourself
  • Strong analytical skills, test-driven and performance-oriented — you optimize for results, not activity
  • You communicate clearly and reliably; you can convey ideas internally and externally and know how to engage different stakeholders
  • You organize yourself, take initiative, and don’t wait for someone else to take the first step
  • German at native level, English at C1/C2
  • Public sector is not new to you: you have an interest in — or ideally experience working with — public administration as a target group and understand its specific language and dynamics
