Responsibilities
- Monitor trading activity across multiple asset classes to detect potential market abuse
- Lead complex investigations and mentor junior analysts
- Contribute to the enhancement of surveillance systems and processes
- Review surveillance alerts and take appropriate action
- Conduct ad-hoc deep-dive investigations into suspicious trading patterns
- Enhance surveillance processes by identifying issues and calibrating thresholds
- Produce management information and thematic analysis on alerts and trends
- Mentor junior colleagues and act as a Trade Surveillance Subject Matter Expert
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience working in trade surveillance
- Comprehensive knowledge of FICC products
- Strong understanding of the UK regulatory framework, including Market Abuse rules and FCA principles
- Experience using Trading Hub (desirable)
- Previous Front Office or Operations experience (desirable)
