About the role
- Senior Solutions Architect leading development of scalable architecture solutions for digital stockbroking platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer engagement and digital presence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, robust, and secure architecture solutions for the new digital stockbroking platform.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Platform Leads, Enterprise Architects, and Engineers to create and maintain the architectural runway for our platform teams.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and service providers to elaborate on solutions, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate implementation alternatives.
- Ensure alignment of architectural solutions with business goals and technology strategy.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Requirements
- Designing and implementing complex, large-scale architecture solutions.
- Common enterprise integration patterns.
- Working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
- Microservices, event-based architecture and API design.
- Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Designing to meet complex security principles and practices.
- Containerisation and orchestration tools e.g. Docker, Kubernetes etc.
- Working in a regulated environment and designing to meet compliance requirements.
- Domain driven design principles and patterns (useful).
- Delivering software solutions in financial services (particularly trading/investments or wealth) (useful).
- Delivering large scale data migrations (500k+ customers) (useful).
- Enterprise architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF (useful).
