About the role

Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth execution of daily operational activities in intermodal transport
- Responsible for efficient and timely truck dispatching for our intermodal hubs in Germany
- Act as the primary contact for customers, partners and transport companies in day-to-day operations
- Monitor and control transport processes—ensuring cost-effectiveness, reliability and a service-oriented approach
- Manage freight procurement and sales to optimize vehicle utilization
- Work closely and coordinate with train planning, transport management and other internal interfaces
Requirements
- Several years of experience in truck dispatching
- Completed vocational qualification in the logistics field (e.g., Freight Forwarding and Logistics Clerk) or further training (e.g., dispatcher) is desirable
- Good German and/or English skills, both written and spoken
- Strong organizational skills and a solution-oriented mindset to manage transport processes efficiently under time pressure
- Reliable and flexible working style to respond confidently to short-term changes in daily operations
- Team-oriented communication for close and smooth collaboration with customers, partners and internal stakeholders
