About the role

  • Solutions Architect designing and delivering clinical trials on proprietary platform for fast-tracking clinical treatments. Bridging clinical operations and product functionalities while collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing incoming study protocols and sponsor requirements to assess what is technically feasible on Citrus, identifying complexity and risk early before build begins
  • Writing detailed technical specifications that translate protocol requirements into precise build instructions, working closely with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, and Medical to make sure nothing gets lost between design and delivery
  • Running the UAT process: setting scope and timelines, reviewing test scripts, working through findings with internal teams and sponsors, and deciding what needs to be resolved before a study goes live
  • Reviewing post-production change requests to assess their impact on data integrity, participant safety, and study endpoints, and determining what level of testing and sign-off is required
  • Staying across active studies throughout their lifecycle, evaluating the impact of platform upgrades, and triaging issues as they arise

Requirements

  • You have ideally 5+ years' experience in a relevant role delivering clinical trials (e.g., Data Manager, Solutions Engineer, Trial Coordinator, Trial Manager); clinical trial start-up experience is highly valued
  • You have a demonstrated technical background, either through a degree (e.g., Computer Science, Bio-medical Engineering or a related field) or through hands-on experience in one of the following: software development, data management, product management, or technical project management
  • You have a track record of success working with stakeholders across functions (e.g., Clinical Operations, Product, Data Management, Biostatistics, Commercial), and have a drive to understand and solve their problems
  • You have solid project management skills to support cross-functional teams in delivering to tight timelines
  • You have great attention to detail, identifying gaps and ambiguities in a trial design early
  • You are curious about how AI tools can be used responsibly and practically to improve the quality and speed of technical work, and have experience or a strong interest in applying them in a regulated or clinical context

Benefits

  • Competitive salary plus meaningful equity - you'll own a piece of what we're building
  • £1,000 annual Learning & Development budget for courses, certifications, and conferences
  • 39 days annual leave (30 days PTO + 8 bank holidays + 1 James Lind Day)
  • £60 monthly wellness allowance with flexibility on how to spend this, including opting in to a company private health insurance or wellhub membership.
  • Access to gym and retail discounts through Happl
  • Monthly lunch vouchers for remote team members
  • Regular company events and team gatherings (both virtual and in-person)
  • Charity partnerships and volunteering opportunities with Forward Trust
