About the role

  • Logistics Procurement Specialist leading procurement activities for transport and warehousing across North EMEA at DS Smith. Driving strategies for competitive and sustainable supply base management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement activities for transport and warehousing across North EMEA
  • Manage annual logistics spend of approximately EUR 37 million
  • Develop and execute multi-year category strategies
  • Lead complex negotiations and manage supplier relationships
  • Drive transformational change across the procurement function
  • Create value through cost optimization, innovation, and sustainability
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Mitigate supplier risk

Requirements

  • Strong procurement expertise in logistics
  • Proven ability to deliver results in dynamic matrix environment
  • Experience in defining and implementing category strategies
  • Leading change and managing large-scale sourcing
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluency in English and Swedish
  • Knowledge of another Nordic or Baltic language is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Professional procurement qualifications
  • At least five years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
