About the role

Responsibilities
- Taking responsibility for in-service work packages
- Leading subprojects
- Direct customer contact and technical coordination with customers and suppliers
- Coordinating and carrying out design elaborations or modifications of existing designs and preparing the necessary documentation
- Assessing manufacturing deviations, preparing proposals for rework and clarifying root causes
- Conducting root cause analyses and developing internally and externally agreed solutions for in-service issues
- Close collaboration within a project team, as well as independent coordination with other departments (e.g., structural analysis or production)
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar qualification
- Experience in design and/or structural analysis
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strong proficiency in German and English
- Methodical, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Experience with CAD software, preferably CATIA V5 or Creo
- Experience with FEM software, preferably ANSYS
- Experience in the aerospace industry is an advantage
