About the role
- Take responsibility for controlling the Information Technology area
- Revise the entire allocation logic for IT costs, including cost calculation for specific IT services (Total Cost of Ownership)
- Responsible for preparing plans and forecasts and participating in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Regular reporting of key metrics (including variance analysis and deriving strategic options) and further development of reporting
- Analyze complex business and economic issues and prepare decision papers and business cases
- Interpret complex data and derive recommendations for measures to optimize results
- Advise business units with high complexity on commercial/financial matters
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position and relevant expertise in IT controlling
- Knowledge of accounting and confidence in applying reporting (internal/external) and planning tools
- Strong affinity for numbers and business/economic contexts
- Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP (especially FI, CO, MM), ideally with knowledge of reporting according to IBCS
- Independent and reliable working style, confident demeanor, and moderation, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Communication skills for internal and external contacts (German skills at least C1 level) as well as willingness to shape processes, assertiveness, and team spirit
