About the role

  • Customer Claim Manager in charge of complaint handling and warranty claims for diesel engines and hydraulic products. Collaborating with internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction and product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary communication partner for our internal customers at sister plants as well as for external customers in the field of diesel engines and hydraulic products
  • Handle complaints and warranty claims
  • Prepare and document 8D reports for customers
  • Perform statistical analyses and evaluations of field data for our products across various construction machinery applications
  • Approve technical statements for customers and prepare reports on product failure behavior
  • Organize and monitor modification and retrofit actions at customer sites (warehouse and field)
  • Conduct regular customer meetings with sister plants and external customers

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical education
  • Additional training as a technician or engineer in mechanics, or training in business administration
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Excellent German language skills
  • Very good English and/or French skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Professional communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
