About the role

  • Manager overseeing editorial workflows and content delivery for legal materials at LexisNexis. Collaborating with global teams to enhance productivity and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the workflows for digital and print delivery of caselaw content; maintains editorial product quality, accuracy, timeliness, and cost management across a global caselaw portfolio.
  • Collaborates with commercial stakeholders to create new global caselaw content opportunities to drive the customer experience forward; liaises regularly with in-market teams to ensure content meets customer needs.
  • Develops meaningful caselaw metrics and analytics in alignment with Global Editorial Operations targets.
  • Executes on automation and drives adoption of global tools and systems delivery; eager to apply cutting-edge content management systems/architecture to streamline processes.
  • Actively manages the budget to ensure targets are met.
  • Identifies and drives opportunities for savings; engages in vendor management and contract negotiation to ensure value; works with the Global Procurement as needed to specify effective processes and standards.
  • Establishes and monitors objectives by providing regular feedback, coaching, training, and talent development; responsible for determining performance improvement opportunities and developing and executing course-correction plans.
  • Executes on cross-functional coordination and support of global initiatives.
  • Drives a culture that encourages learning, AI-first thinking, and thoughtful, timely decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience leading teams or managing projects in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives with attention to detail and quality.
  • A problem-solving mindset and openness to new technologies and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with legal content, editorial processes, or similar professional environments.
  • A law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) or relevant legal editorial experience.
  • Experience supporting teams through organizational change or transformation.
  • A process-oriented approach, with the ability to develop and implement consistent workflows and best practices.
