About the role

  • Direct Auto Area Sales Manager managing sales processes and dealer relationships in Tennessee region. Seeking new vendors for auto lending and maintaining industry connections.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational and direct auto purchase sales processes of a specific metropolitan region
  • Actively seek new vendors to join Lendmark Financial Services dealer network
  • Inquire, sign, and set up new direct auto dealers
  • Manage and maintain dealer relationships
  • Train dealer personnel
  • Update senior leaders on industry trends
  • Address dealer service issues
  • Manage risk relative to position

Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED from accredited institution
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience or related field
  • Ability to be effective in product / service presentation, negotiation and final closings
  • Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision, self-starter
  • Ability to be effective in dealer servicing and retention
  • Broad-based industry knowledge of related documents and legalities
  • Working knowledge of support positions
  • Basic computer skills and understanding of related programs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Preferred qualifications: College degree, Experience in consumer finance industry, Experience in direct auto lending, Reliable transportation & ability to commute to vendor sites
