Responsibilities

  • Utilize familiarity with microgrids' control systems and automation technologies
  • Apply understanding of microgrid concepts and energy management
  • Participate in Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
  • Perform Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing
  • Demonstrate knowledge of various renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, and batteries
  • Establish project schedules and budgets
  • Travel to project sites to collect information on existing conditions

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • 4 to 8+ years of related microgrid experience
  • Strong knowledge of microgrid and renewable energies
  • Protection and control of power system experience
  • Capability to learn a variety of client software packages and databases
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)
  • Valid US driver license
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds
