Responsibilities
- Utilize familiarity with microgrids' control systems and automation technologies
- Apply understanding of microgrid concepts and energy management
- Participate in Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
- Perform Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing
- Demonstrate knowledge of various renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, and batteries
- Establish project schedules and budgets
- Travel to project sites to collect information on existing conditions
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- 4 to 8+ years of related microgrid experience
- Strong knowledge of microgrid and renewable energies
- Protection and control of power system experience
- Capability to learn a variety of client software packages and databases
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)
- Valid US driver license
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
