Responsibilities
- Manage a collaborative and dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment
- Solve challenging problems involved with electric transmission
- Serve as a Supervisor and Engineering Lead on high voltage electric transmission line design projects
- Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, NEC, and other applicable standards in engineering and design
- Assist the team in performing engineering analyses, preparing bidding documents, plans, and specifications
- Manage client relations, proposal development, scope creation, and project management
- Involve in applying AI, automation, and digital design platforms to streamline grid modernization and increase design efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Twelve plus (12+) years of relevant experience in the design of high voltage electric utility transmission systems
- Professional Engineering Registration in at least one U.S. state or equivalent
- Experience with PLS-CADD, POLE, TOWER, SAG10, LPILE and/or FAD, and Microsoft Office suite
- Five plus (5+) years of supervising staff - favorable if you have
- M.S. degree in Structural Engineering - favorable if you have
- Track record of outstanding communication as a primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients
- Business acumen with a record of understanding and meeting key project performance metrics.
