About the role
- Product Owner overseeing financial and tax projects at Leega. Collaborating with clients and teams to deliver successful product outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Clearly understand the strategy of the area and the company as a whole, ensuring successful deliveries that meet customer needs and follow market trends.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from Inception/Discovery through Delivery/Launch.
- Attend meetings with internal/external clients, partners and vendors to ensure development is aligned with the product strategy.
- Master practices for backlog creation and user story writing, such as PBB, Story Mapping, etc.
- Coordinate and manage refinement and sprint planning sessions with the technical team, actively contributing to a well-refined product backlog.
- Take a leading role in driving the process, managing expectations of impacted areas and proposing alternative solutions.
- Maintain a broad systems view across projects to help create products that maximize reuse of existing features.
- Analyze business problems and translate them into meaningful user stories.
- Organize and prioritize the backlog with a focus on business outcomes, obsessively pursuing the greatest possible impact on strategic metrics.
- Monitor daily product development progress with the technical team, serving as the focal point and facilitator of the team alongside the Tech Lead.
- Design and implement reliable, innovative, high-performance solutions for development, aligned with the product strategy.
- Identify and leverage opportunities that generate synergies and drive the evolution of the organization’s products.
Requirements
- ESSENTIAL: Experience in the Tax and Finance domain
- Experience developing Product Roadmaps
- Practical experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role managing digital products
- Strong command of agile methodologies and practices
- Mastery of practices for backlog creation and user story writing, such as PBB, Story Mapping, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working on large or complex projects
- Flexible and adaptable to change and to varied work configurations
- Leadership attitude that inspires other team members
- Deliver on commitments, meeting deadlines and negotiating scope, timelines or costs based on data
