About the role

  • Monitor daily processes and adjust operating conditions as needed.
  • Serve as liaison with SOIP, Maintenance, E&I, QC, Logistics, and HR.
  • Provide internal technical support, including inspections/audits, PHA’s, RCA’s, MOC’s, training, and permit coordination.
  • Lead and support process improvement activities, including root-cause investigations.
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings and operational reviews.
  • Identify and investigate issues involving unusual operating conditions; solutions may require developing new or improved processes, techniques, or equipment.
  • Assess feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering tests, products, or equipment changes.
  • Coordinate implementation of new or revised engineering solutions.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives using various continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards tied to improvement goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; technical trade school or college degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of operations experience (preferrably in the chemical manufacturing industry).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct fact-based analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and interpret operational data to determine appropriate actions.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP; ability to learn additional systems as needed.
