Monitor daily processes and adjust operating conditions as needed.
Serve as liaison with SOIP, Maintenance, E&I, QC, Logistics, and HR.
Provide internal technical support, including inspections/audits, PHA’s, RCA’s, MOC’s, training, and permit coordination.
Lead and support process improvement activities, including root-cause investigations.
Prepare for and participate in meetings and operational reviews.
Identify and investigate issues involving unusual operating conditions; solutions may require developing new or improved processes, techniques, or equipment.
Assess feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering tests, products, or equipment changes.
Coordinate implementation of new or revised engineering solutions.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives using various continuous improvement methodologies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards tied to improvement goals.
Requirements
High school diploma required; technical trade school or college degree preferred.
3+ years of operations experience (preferrably in the chemical manufacturing industry).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct fact-based analysis and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and interpret operational data to determine appropriate actions.
Prior leadership experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP; ability to learn additional systems as needed.
