About the role
- Assistant Manager - Production overseeing chemical production operations and ensuring safety compliance at LANXESS plant in Nagda, MP, India.
Responsibilities
- Planning of micro level operation of respective area of production as per given production target.
- Co-ordination with other departments like Technology, Utility, Safety, Lab, ETP, Co-gen, TF etc. for smooth operation of plant.
- Plan shut down activities and co-ordinate with related departments for implementation.
- Ensure safety compliances as per norms in operational area in plant.
- Maintaining records of break down in SAP and maintaining daily and monthly production reports.
- Training at shop floor for subordinates to enhance their skills in the plant.
- Ensuring the quality of finished product as per specifications.
- Follow up of ISO guidelines & implementation of HAZOP, HACCP, FEMIQs recommendations at shop floor (Including documentation update).
- Ensure proper work permit system gets followed.
- Responsible for resource management for smooth functioning of the plant like raw materials, utilities etc.
Requirements
- Specific Education - B.E. (Chemical)
- Work Experience - 10+ years of experience.
- Special Skills - Knowledge about DCS operation, operation of reactors, distillation column, ejectors, pumps, heat exchangers, Cooling tower.
