About the role

• GIS Developer implementing Utility Network Models within international projects at Accenture in Munich. Focus on modern GIS solutions for utility networks, automating processes and ensuring data quality.

Responsibilities

• Technical implementation of modern utility networks
• You will implement and further develop Utility Network models based on the Esri ArcGIS platform and support the representation of new network structures, processes and domain requirements in existing GIS landscapes
• Development & automation in the GIS environment
• You will automate recurring GIS processes using Python, Arcade, ModelBuilder and similar tools, and develop ArcGIS Pro add-ins with C# (.NET) using the ArcGIS Pro SDK to make workflows more efficient and more robust
• Data quality, migration & collaboration
• You will support data migrations, rollouts and the integration of new networks, ensure data quality, consistency and governance, and work closely with architects, business units and IT teams to implement requirements clearly and pragmatically.

Requirements

• You have a degree in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, Surveying, Geography or a comparable qualification with a technical focus
• You bring initial or several years of experience in GIS development or network modeling, ideally in the utilities or network infrastructure domain
• You have knowledge of Utility Network models, GIS data structures and experience working with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise or comparable GIS systems
• You have practical experience in scripting and automating GIS processes (e.g. with Python, Arcade or ModelBuilder) and work in an analytical and structured manner
• You are willing to travel for projects, enjoy working in a team and bring initiative as well as enthusiasm for innovative, technical GIS solutions
• You communicate very confidently in German (C1) and have good English skills for collaboration in international project teams.
