About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive system and facility requirements for the specification, design, and construction of a propulsion system manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to enhance facility performance, ensuring that facility requirements support processes and comply with relevant policies, regulations, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met during the design and construction phases.
- Provide support for project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure the timely completion of the facility.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
- Ensure facility design requirements comply with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
- Present findings and updates in written reports and oral presentations to stakeholders at various levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior Industrial Systems Engineering or related experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior Industrial Systems Engineering or related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior Industrial Systems Engineering or related experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Active US Secret Clearance is preferred.
- Experience with IBM DOORs and Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interactions with teams and stakeholders.
