Responsibilities
Oversees all efforts relating to contract execution
Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects from beginning to end
Ensures cost and schedule conformance on assigned projects
Acts as the point-of-contact between elements of Program Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, and Finance
Coordinates the procurement, build, and test of complex electronic systems
Drive the implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM)
Develop and maintain EVM baselines, including Planned Value (PV), Earned Value (EV), and Actual Cost (AC)
Monitor and report financial, schedule and technical performance of assigned programs
Oversee program budgets and analyze budget performance and variance analysis
Utilize program management tools to monitor and report program performance to objectives
Ability to travel up to 10%
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant project management experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related project management experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related project management experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
At least 2 years of experience in an industrial environment
Related experience in a manufacturing, production, or other highly schedule-based environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze data using graphs and pivot tables
Experience using schedule management tools such as Microsoft project
Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems
Demonstrated ability in financial or data analysis and monitoring is desired
Experience in cost control, budgeting, and forecasting
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment, facilitating collaboration between engineering, QA, and test site teams.
