- Oversees all efforts relating to contract execution
- Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects from beginning to end
- Ensures cost and schedule conformance on assigned projects
- Acts as the point-of-contact between elements of Program Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, and Finance
- Coordinates the procurement, build, and test of complex electronic systems
- Drive the implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Develop and maintain EVM baselines, including Planned Value (PV), Earned Value (EV), and Actual Cost (AC)
- Monitor and report financial, schedule and technical performance of assigned programs
- Oversee program budgets and analyze budget performance and variance analysis
- Utilize program management tools to monitor and report program performance to objectives
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant project management experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related project management experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related project management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- At least 2 years of experience in an industrial environment
- Related experience in a manufacturing, production, or other highly schedule-based environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze data using graphs and pivot tables
- Experience using schedule management tools such as Microsoft project
- Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems
- Demonstrated ability in financial or data analysis and monitoring is desired
- Experience in cost control, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment, facilitating collaboration between engineering, QA, and test site teams.
