About the role

  • Production Program Manager overseeing contract execution at L3Harris Technologies. Planning, executing, and monitoring projects while ensuring cost and schedule conformance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all efforts relating to contract execution
  • Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects from beginning to end
  • Ensures cost and schedule conformance on assigned projects
  • Acts as the point-of-contact between elements of Program Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, and Finance
  • Coordinates the procurement, build, and test of complex electronic systems
  • Drive the implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Develop and maintain EVM baselines, including Planned Value (PV), Earned Value (EV), and Actual Cost (AC)
  • Monitor and report financial, schedule and technical performance of assigned programs
  • Oversee program budgets and analyze budget performance and variance analysis
  • Utilize program management tools to monitor and report program performance to objectives
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant project management experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related project management experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related project management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in an industrial environment
  • Related experience in a manufacturing, production, or other highly schedule-based environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze data using graphs and pivot tables
  • Experience using schedule management tools such as Microsoft project
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems
  • Demonstrated ability in financial or data analysis and monitoring is desired
  • Experience in cost control, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment, facilitating collaboration between engineering, QA, and test site teams.
