Responsibilities
Provide field and office-based technical support for RF communications equipment across HF, VHF, UHF, and SHF spectrums.
Deliver customer training and guidance on operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures.
Offer pre- and post-sales technical support, including system design input and application advice.
Present and interpret technical information for customers and internal sales teams.
Design minor system solutions to meet customer requirements.
Evaluate product performance and recommend improvements or alternatives.
Install, configure, operate, maintain, and repair communications equipment and software.
Diagnose equipment faults and implement effective corrective actions.
Requirements
Current Commonwealth of Australia security clearance, minimum Negative Vetting (NV1).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.
Military Communications experience essential.
Field engineering experience with tactical radio equipment including training, operation, fault finding and basic maintenance of military communications equipment.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Proven written and oral communication skills to provide reports and briefings to the customer.
