Responsibilities

  • As a Data Management professional at Kyndryl, you'll be involved in creating innovative solutions that bring data to life.
  • From building cutting-edge proof-of-concept models to architecting data systems tailored to client needs, you'll transform complex requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
  • Your role will involve hands-on work with a diverse range of technologies, ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and bespoke data solutions.
  • You'll be the go-to expert for users navigating highly technical, sophisticated data systems, with a deep understanding of both relational and non-relational database technologies.
  • Your work will include managing and administering Storage Systems, Network, and emerging cloud-based technologies.
  • You'll oversee database performance, constantly monitoring and optimizing to ensure high efficiency, reliability, and security.
  • By developing and enforcing best practices around data management, you'll safeguard the integrity of critical information while ensuring it remains secure.
  • In addition to the technical challenges, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, playing a pivotal role in database-related projects and initiatives.
  • Keeping pace with industry trends and advancements in storage systems – you’ll evaluate and recommend new tools and solutions that keep your organization at the cutting edge of data management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in Storage Systems, Netapp, PureStorage, Hitachi, IBM, Infinidat, Brocade
  • Understanding of database concepts, architecture, and best practices
  • Experience with Storage tuning, optimization, and performance monitoring
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, disaster recovery planning, and high availability solutions
