About the role
- Analyst responsible for database stability and performance, providing technical support at Kurier. Working with various database technologies and collaborating on system integrations.
Responsibilities
- Level 2 and 3 technical support for incidents involving databases and corporate applications.
- Administration and monitoring of databases (backup/restore, indexing, permissions, updates and performance).
- Analysis and resolution of complex issues, including slowness, integrity failures, locks, deadlocks and connection errors.
- Support for development teams in SQL query optimization, data model reviews and definition of best practices.
- Monitoring and tuning of DBMS performance parameters to ensure environment stability and efficiency.
- Automation of routines, scripts and reports using PowerShell, Bash or SQL.
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and procedures, promoting continuous process improvement.
- Support for deployment of new systems/versions, integrations (APIs, ETL, replications) and maintenance of virtualized and cloud environments.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networks or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in technical support and database administration (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking and security.
- Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, basic tuning, stored procedures, functions, triggers, query optimization, version control, ETL routines and data integration).
