About the role
- responsible for development of Products for General Industry, Chemical, Building Services & Waste Water Industry including Pumps and Pump Package.
- develop & localize new products like End suction pumps, Split case Pumps, multistage pumps, horizontally or vertically mounted.
- own product development activity & drive project to ensure activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements.
- serve as primary product expert for assigned products independently & provide product management related support.
- prepare & evaluate product variable cost and highlight actions to maintain margins.
- provide support & technical inputs for introducing new products or maintaining existing ones.
Requirements
- reasonably good technical and commercial competence
- centrifugal pump knowledge is must
- well versed with FM, UL, ISO, ANSI, EN, ASTM, DIN, HIS standards & specifications
- knowledge about product development and accessories like seals, motors, engines etc
- familiar with product cost structure & tools like SAP & efficient in MS Office
- knowledge of various applications and market segment is preferable
