About the role
- Join KPMG as an Audit Intern, preparing and completing a range of audit assignments for New Zealand's top organisations. Work closely with clients to ensure accurate financial information and operational success.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete a range of audit assignments, including statutory audits, assurance engagements, investigation and acquisition reports, limited reviews, proposals, and special reports.
- Summarize the approach, work undertaken, and conclusions of audit sections.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of client processes and controls.
- Contribute to determining audit objectives and ensuring compliance with auditing standards and software.
- Actively engage with clients, responding to queries, formulating solutions, and identifying value-added opportunities.
- Continuously develop client relationships, build networks, and assist with audit proposals for non-audit clients.
