About the role

  • Technology Implementation Assistant Manager at KPMG helping clients with compliance technology adoption and implementation. Collaborating with teams to drive efficiency and accuracy for global tax compliance solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the adoption and implementation of KPMG’s compliance technology platform across both the UK and EMA firms.
  • Support innovation through automation, analytics, and data-driven solutions.
  • Enable multinational clients to achieve global tax and accounting compliance with greater efficiency, accuracy, and control.
  • Assist senior team members in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to translate their vision into actionable deliverables.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through technology adoption and ensuring solutions deliver measurable improvements.
  • Work closely with senior members during client technology demonstrations and sales efforts.
  • Aid in the management and delivery of KPMG and third-party technology solutions.
  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery of compliance technology.
  • Support the delivery of multiple technology projects, including identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
  • Provide support to technical and design leads throughout project lifecycles.
  • Prepare functional specification documents, technical specification documents, and user manuals with the team.
  • Coordinate and support junior staff to foster growth and development.

Requirements

  • A strong interest or background in tax and reporting technology is essential.
  • Familiarity with finance or tax processes is advantageous.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, concepts, and modern work practices.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders at various levels.
  • Experience in supporting projects or solutions delivered using agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to environments focused on technology change implementation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to logically analyse complex requirements, processes and systems.
  • An understanding of tax and accounting, prior experience in tax or finance compliance is advantageous.
