About the role
- Director Executive Credit managing credit lifecycle strategies at Konfío to enhance portfolio profitability for SME lending in Mexico. Collaboration with key teams and fostering a high-performance culture in the credit segment.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead the entire credit cycle strategy, assuming full responsibility and accountability for portfolio profitability (NPV) and recovery rates
- Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge risk models and Artificial Intelligence algorithms for SME credit assessment
- Proactively integrate and optimize external data sources and advanced analytics to enrich credit decision-making
- Drive operational excellence in credit management and collections through continuous, automated monitoring
- Foster a high-performance culture and talent development within the credit team
- Collaborate transversely with key areas such as Product, Technology, and Operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering (Industrial, Systems, etc.), Actuarial Science, or related quantitative fields
- 8-15 years of proven and progressive experience in senior leadership or directorial positions in credit risk management, financial modeling, portfolio analysis, or equivalent roles within the Fintech, Banking, or Financial Institutions sector
- Advanced English is mandatory (Excluyente)
