About the role

  • Bid/Sales Manager leading customer engagement and managing bids at Körber's Supply Chain unit in France. Driving new business opportunities and maintaining customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer engagement end-to-end throughout the bid process.
  • Manage tenders and prepare competitive proposals.
  • Own proposal costing and manage project budgets.
  • Analyze customer requirements and coordinate systems design.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships through direct visits.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Economics, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in bid or sales management.
  • Industry experience required; logistics experience is a plus.
  • Committed, responsible team player who stays focused on goals and continuous improvement, and can inspire others in collaborative projects.
  • Intercultural experience and openness to challenges.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Comfortable working across disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
