Responsibilities

  • Identification of new markets and translating trends into viable product strategies
  • Actively shaping the future of our company
  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of the team
  • Promoting team development within a modern leadership culture
  • Managing, operationalizing and evaluating strategic growth initiatives for new business development
  • Identifying and assessing new industries and markets for technology transfer potential
  • Designing, implementing and evaluating MVP projects as well as new business ventures
  • Conducting profitability analyses, assessing market opportunities, customer access and barriers to entry
  • Identifying relevant potential customers and developing targeted outreach concepts
  • Evaluating project successes and market opportunities and deriving well-founded go-to-market strategies
  • Close collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business administration or engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Many years of professional experience in a comparable role, ideally in a strategy department or strategy consulting
  • Practical experience in business plan modelling, M&A and post‑merger integration
  • Developing long-term product and business strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Ideally, previous work experience abroad or in a highly international environment
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies, margins, ROI and profitability calculations
  • Experience in technical or disciplinary leadership and development of teams
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with strategic thinking and a high degree of creativity
  • Confident communication at all hierarchical levels
  • Experience with international customer contact across the sales and project lifecycle
